Vintage Roland Rarities CPE-series

Roland CPE – never heard of that – until I saw this.
it’s a mix automation – VCA automation in early 80s (see the 808/Jupiter style buttons) – just to mention it.
the way it works is a time code display nad some sort of sequencing – in fact that’s what VCAs need. it’s one „console“ and the main processing unit where it all happens, the VCA 800.

Ich habe es bis vor Kurzem noch nie gesehen, diese Mix-Automation mit 808-Tastern. Die Bedienung scheint einfach und auch durchaus beschränkt auf VCA und Mutes zu sein – aber es hat sich offensichtlich nicht durchgesetzt oder was zu speziell seinerzeit?
